DoDo Angel Christening Set 925 Silver Pink — Cup and Spoon, Engravable

A cup and spoon are considered classics among christening gifts. This set in 925 silver gives the classic an angel. It sits in relief on the cup and as a little yellow angel with a pink hem in the head of the spoon.

Silver christening gift with angel

At approx. 60 × 60 × 50 mm, the cup holds 100 ml. The angel on its front wears a halo and spreads its wings. At the back, the silver stays smooth.

The spoon measures approx. 125 mm. In its handle head sits a little enamel angel with a gold-plated rim. Enamel dots in green, yellow and blue line the handle, with a relief pattern of small circles in between.

What a guardian angel means as a gift

Giving an angel for a christening is a widespread custom. Whoever gives one wishes the child a sheltered upbringing. Some later place the angel where it can be seen in the nursery.

Here it even accompanies the child at the table. On the cup it sits in silver, on the spoon in yellow with a pink hem. You will find the version with a blue hem as the angel christening set with blue hem.

From godparents, grandparents and parents

For godparents, a cup and spoon together make a well-rounded gesture. Grandparents can be pleased that both pieces can later be used in everyday life. Parents keep the set as a memento of the christening day. You will find more ideas in the guide What does a godparent give for a christening.

Engraving on the cup and in the spoon's handle head

At the back of the cup there is a smooth silver surface. Up to 20 characters can be engraved here, such as a name and christening date. The spoon carries its engraving on the back of its head; 10 to 12 characters are enough for a name.

For each piece with engraving, you select the engraving service once. The wording goes into the “order note at checkout”. We then agree on the details with you. If it cannot be realised for technical reasons, we will transfer the flat fee back to you.

The set goes well with a SilberVerse card with a verse, 15 × 10 cm in size, which you receive free of charge on request.

Answers before you give

Does the set also work as a birth gift?
Absolutely. An angel welcomes a newborn just as well. Instead of the christening day, you can then have the date of birth engraved.

How do the blue and the pink set differ?
Only in the hem of the little angel on the spoon. The cup, case and all other features are the same.

How do I clean the cup?
Lukewarm water and a soft cloth are enough. Never put it in the dishwasher.

Can I get the spoon on its own?
Yes. You will find it as the baby spoon with little pink angel. The children's cup with angel is also available on its own.
