Description
What do you give for a christening that shines on the big day and is used in everyday life afterwards? This silver christening gift brings together a cup with an angel relief and a spoon whose round handle head holds a little yellow angel with a blue hem. Both pieces lie together in the case.

The cup holds 100 ml and measures approx. 60 × 60 × 50 mm. On the front, an angel with a halo and wings sits enthroned in relief. Three dots sit on the handle, green and blue in enamel, one of them gold-plated.
The spoon is approx. 125 mm long. Both pieces belong to the DoDo series by ArgentA.
A blue hem makes the difference
In the round handle head sits a little yellow enamel angel. A gold-plated rim frames it, and its hem is blue. Enamel dots in green, yellow and blue follow along the handle, together with a relief pattern of small circles.
The version with a pink hem shows the same little angel on the spoon; the cup stays the same. You will find it as the angel christening set with pink hem.
In the case for the christening day
The case is ArgentA's gift box, and the satin ribbons are a fixed part of it. The cup and spoon lie side by side inside, ready to be handed over. If you would also like a pacifier as a keepsake, take a look at the three-piece set with keepsake pacifier.
Engraving: name and date on the cup, first name on the spoon
Opposite the angel, the cup is left smooth. This surface takes up to 20 characters, for example a name and date. On the spoon, the back of the round handle head serves as the surface; it fits 10 to 12 characters, usually a first name.
Each engraved piece costs a flat fee, which you add to your cart as the engraving service. Enter what should go on the cup and spoon in the “order note at checkout”. We will get back to you with any questions once your order has arrived. If a text cannot be realised technically, the amount will be refunded to you.
If you like, ask us for a SilberVerse card in the 15 × 10 cm card format. It costs nothing and carries a verse for the christening day.
Questions about the angel christening set
Why is silver often given for a christening?
Silver for a christening is an old custom among godparents and grandparents. It stays beautiful for decades. A silver cup and spoon accompany the child from the first meals into adult life.
Can I drink from the silver cup?
Yes, it is made for everyday use. Wash it by hand after use and dry it gently with a soft cloth. Never put it in the dishwasher.
How do I care for the enamel and the gilding?
Never rub the enamel; pat it dry. Treat the gilding on the spoon just like the silver itself.
Can the cup and spoon be ordered separately?
Both are also available on their own. You will find the cup as the children's cup with angel and the spoon as the baby spoon with little blue angel.
