What makes this Sagittarius zodiac set special
The teaspoon for your cup, the dessert spoon and fork for your pastries. The bowl of both spoons features the same gold-plated image: a centaur with a bow, smaller on the teaspoon. The fork has a shield with the Sagittarius symbol beneath the tines. All three handle ends feature a flower with niello.
The Sagittarius: Fire in Advent
Sagittarius is a fire sign for the days between November 23 and December 21. Greek tradition depicts it as a centaur, often associated with the wise Chiron.
Birthday around Christmas
With a December birthday, one's special day can easily get lost in the hustle and bustle. The set provides a birthday gift of its own, separate from the holiday. For November-born children, it is a Christmas gift with a personal connection; more in our Christmas guide.
SevChern and niello
The niello art of Veliky Ustyug has been documented since 1683. SevChern engraves by hand and fuses the inlay.
