What makes this Aquarius zodiac set special
Three pieces for cup and plate: teaspoon, dessert spoon, and fork. Both spoons feature the same gold-plated image, a figure with a water jug, with a smaller version on the teaspoon. Below the tines of the fork sits a plaque with the Aquarius symbol. Gold rim, gold-plated stems, niello flower at the end of the handle.
Aquarius: Air in February
Aquarius, an air sign, covers the period from January 21 to February 19. As the water bearer, the constellation is often associated with Ganymede, the cupbearer of the gods.
Occasions and Events
In the gray days of February, cutlery makes a bright birthday gift. As a Christmas gift, it is a delightful surprise to receive one's own sign, and further pieces for the sign can be added gradually.
Niello Technique
Niello from Veliky Ustyug has been documented since 1683. At SevChern, the pattern is engraved by hand and the inlay is melted into place.
Frequently asked questions about the Aquarius set
Which zodiac sign does February 1st fall under?
Aquarius; the period runs from January 21 to February 19.
Do I get two spoons with the same Aquarius motif?
Exactly: a figure with a water jug in the bowl of both spoons, slightly smaller on the teaspoon.
Do you also sell the Aquarius pieces separately?
Yes, they are available separately as a dessert spoon, dessert fork, and teaspoon, or as a two-piece set: Aquarius dessert cutlery.
Can the Aquarius set be engraved?
Unfortunately, no. The image, symbol, and niello cover the available space, and the stems are narrow. Alternatively, we can include a SilberVerse card with a personal dedication.
How long can the Aquarius cutlery be left in water?
Not at all: please hand-wash and dry immediately. Avoid dishwashers and silver dips. The niello article explains the technique.
