Description
Gold instead of restraint: In this version of the Bow Teddy, the 925 sterling silver baby spoon features a gold-plated bow beneath the bear figure, interspersed with small red and yellow enamel dots within a star-and-heart relief. A gift for a birth or baptism, regardless of the child's gender.
For a Baptism
Gold as a splash of color
Instead of oxidation, this version relies on gilding and small, colorful accents.
View Teddy Bear CollectionWhat distinguishes the gilding from oxidation
Instead of dark recesses, this spoon features a genuine gold-plated bow, placed directly under the three-dimensionally shaped bear figure. Stars and hearts remain as a relief, with individual red and yellow dots interspersed between them. The result is significantly more colorful and shinier than the simple, dark-accented version.
Three textures on one handle
Highly polished silver, matte gold bow, colorful enamel dots – all this alternates over a short distance. For a baby, this means: when touching the handle, a different sensation awaits at almost every point.
Prefer dark over colorful?
The same basic motif – bear, bow, stars, hearts – is also available completely without color, only with oxidation in the recesses. And if you would prefer no ornamentation at all, the classic DoDo Bear baby spoon offers the same bear figure in solid silver on both sides.
How to care for the gilding
A dry, soft cloth is sufficient for the shiny silver surfaces. It is better to touch the bow and enamel dots only with a slightly damp cloth, without any polishing agents – this ensures the gilding does not lose its color. As with all baby silver, children should only handle it under supervision.
FAQ about the gold-plated Bow Teddy baby spoon
Why can this spoon not be engraved?
The bear and bow take up the entire visible area on the upper handle; no free, flat surface remains. Instead, you can receive our SilberVerse card upon request, a photo card, 15 × 10 cm, landscape format, with a verse created specifically for the occasion and name.
Which colors does this spoon feature?
A gold-plated bow as well as red and yellow enamel dots between the star-and-heart relief.
What makes the teddy bear a special motif?
It is one of the oldest childhood symbols in existence and represents closeness rather than excitement.
What are the dimensions of the spoon?
Approximately 11.5 centimeters in length with a weight of around 16 grams.
How is the gold-plated spoon packaged?
In an elegant gift box, so you can hand it over straight away at the christening. How the box looks in future is not fixed.
