Material and craftsmanship
The centerpiece of the set is a silver horseshoe with the Cyrillic inscription "На счастье" — "For happiness." In the center of the horseshoe, two interlocking rings are inlaid in niello, the Slavic symbol of marriage: two motifs in one piece, the horseshoe for luck, the rings for the union.
The horseshoe is accompanied by two fully gold-plated teaspoons made of 925 silver. The fine gold covers the entire surface, from the bowl to the end of the handle. At the end of each handle sits a small niello rosette with stylized ring elements that pick up the motif of the horseshoe. Niello is not an applied paint, but a black inlay that is melted into engraved lines, ground flat, and polished — like ink in silver; it remains a permanent part of the silver — a technique from the manufacturing tradition of SevChern in Veliky Ustyug.

Clean by hand only, do not put in the dishwasher.
