A silver box that opens — and inside are three shot glasses. The box is shaped like a stemmed bowl with a domed lid, with a shimmering deep blue grape ornament on each surface, golden edges, and a golden knob on the lid. The three glasses inside feature the same motif, are gold-plated on the inside, and fit perfectly into the opening of the bowl. Lid off, glasses out, pour, toast, put back, lid on — a drinking set that looks like a sculpture when not in use.

Material and Workmanship

What's special about this set is that the box is not just packaging, but part of the experience. The stemmed bowl with a domed lid stands on a baluster foot with its own ornamental band — when closed, it looks like a centerpiece. Only when the lid is lifted do the three glasses appear, standing side by side in the bowl, their golden rims pointing upwards. The same ornament adorns all four parts: heavy grapes hang from tendrils, leaves frame them, and in between, golden areas glow against the dark blue background of the enamel work. In Russian ornamentation, the grape has always stood for abundance and enjoyment — a motif that fits a shot set as well as a wine goblet. On the box, the pattern covers the entire cup and lid; every grape, every leaf, and every tendril is hand-engraved into the silver and fired with the enamel paste, the golden accents are applied separately. Care

Clean all four parts exclusively by hand with lukewarm water and then dry them with a soft cloth. The gold-plated surfaces and niello inlays are sensitive to aggressive cleaning agents and dishwashers — a silver polishing cloth is completely sufficient for regular shine. Store the set closed in the box to further protect the glasses.

Can you drink from the glasses?

Yes — 925 silver is food-safe, as is the gold-plated interior. Each glass holds approx. 2 to 3 cl, a classic shot or vodka portion. Clean the glasses with warm water instead of in the dishwasher.
