Children's Spoon 925 Silver Boy with Rocking Horse — Blackened

A boy pulls his rocking horse through a dark field. This children's spoon made of 925 silver shows him in relief: the recesses are blackened, the raised surfaces polished. At the back of the handle, a name or date can be engraved.

It is given as a gift for a birth or christening. It is perfect for any child who likes horses and hats.

Relief with rocking horse: Light out of the darkness

A pom-pom hat sits on his head, a button jacket on his body. He pulls the rocking horse behind him by a string. Everything raised is polished, everything recessed blackened. This makes the hat, buttons, string and horse stand out sharply.

Below the boy lies a raised, polished heart in the blackened field. It stands alone and puts a bright final point to the scene.

On a white plate, the contrast is most clearly visible: dark lines, reflective hollow. It measures approx. 14.5 cm in length and weighs approx. 29 g.

Blackened children's spoon for birth: Calm in appearance, sharp in design

Those who find gold plating on a children's spoon too festive are in the right place. The dark background holds back, the polished relief stands in contrast. The occasions are birth, christening and the first birthday.

What godparents can give otherwise is explained in the guide to meaningful gifts for christenings for boys.

Engraving: Relief at the front, your text at the back

At the back of the handle, there is room for up to 20 characters. A first name with a year fits well.

Order the spoon together with the flat rate from the engraving service. You note your wish in the "note at checkout". A preliminary inquiry is not necessary. If the engraving is not possible, you will receive the flat rate back.

If desired, you can additionally request a free SilberVerse card. Your verse is printed on photo paper, landscape format, 15 × 10 cm.

Cutlery with the boy: When the spoon gets company

The boy with the rocking horse is also on the children's fork. As a pair, it is available in the two-piece children's cutlery set.

Relief spoon with boy: The question for the giver

Can blackened silver be made shiny again?
The raised, polished areas shine again with a soft cloth. The blackening in the recesses is intentional here, it forms the contrast in the relief. A dip bath is not for this spoon.

Blackened or gold-plated: what suits better?
That is a matter of taste. The boy is the same in both cases, only the surface and color differ. With the gold-plated boy, the gold plating lies on the figure and heart.

Is there the same motif as a girl?
Yes, as girl with flower in the same blackened version. Both together are a pair for siblings or twins. More motifs are shown by the children's spoons.
