Note: We have an earlier description for this set that mentions a flat, round drip tray with a diameter of 51 mm and a volume of 40 ml. However, the product image clearly shows a small stemmed cup with a foot, not a flat tray. The dimensions and weight of both parts are therefore open and should be re-measured by Roman using the actual product before being included in the description.

Material and Workmanship

Both parts of this set are made of 925 sterling silver and feature the same floral-black niello craftsmanship. On the spoon strainer, the embellishment is located at the two curved ends of the rim, while the center of the strainer remains polished and unadorned. On the stemmed cup, a narrow band of floral niello ornaments wraps around the upper rim, below which the goblet shape remains smooth and simple. This recurring design language — floral niello ornament on otherwise calm, polished silver — visually connects both parts, even though they fulfill different functions: one for straining loose tea, the other as a small drinking vessel.
