Material and craftsmanship

The spoon has an orange main star in enamel at the top of the handle, a gilded crown above it, and a yellow and a blue mini-star along the handle. The handled rattle is crafted as a standalone piece: a large, fully sculpted silver star forms the upper handle end, with a classic ornamental handle below it. When shaken, the solid silver body produces a soft, clear sound. The set is crafted in the Russian silversmith tradition and curated for our shop.

The star symbolism is a classic godfather's gift for a christening, and for a birth, the handled rattle accompanies the first weeks as a sound and keepsake. For the first birthday, the spoon takes on the daily role of feeding, while the rattle becomes more of a display piece. Care

Clean the spoon and rattle by hand with warm water and mild dish soap, then dry with a soft cloth. For the polished silver surfaces, a silver polishing cloth is sufficient; avoid the enamel areas. We advise against using a dishwasher, as heat and aggressive detergents can damage enamel and gilding.
