The spoon and rattle are made of 925 sterling silver and are highly polished. The crest spoon features a silver shield on the handle head, which is embedded in a royal blue enamel surface and crowned by a gold-plated crown — a classic heraldic combination. The rattle on a handle does not have a flat plaque at its head, but a fully three-dimensional boy figure with a cap and scarf. The spoon belongs to the "Royal Childhood" line by the ArgentA manufactory, the handle rattle with the boy figure comes from Zaramella in Italy; we put both together for you as this set. Neither piece belongs in the dishwasher — heat and aggressive cleaners would eventually make the enamel and gilding look dull. Hand washing with warm water is perfectly sufficient.
