Baby spoon 925 silver – Flying elephant with blue enamel

This baby spoon made of 925 sterling silver features a flying elephant with its trunk raised and ears spread at the end of the handle — its body is an enamel mosaic of individually applied color patches in vibrant royal blue, dark green, orange, and occasional magenta accents. It can be engraved upon review and is suitable as a gift for a birth, christening, or first birthday. Traditionally, the blue color scheme is chosen for boys, but the elephant motif itself appeals to every child.

Material and craftsmanship

The spoon is cast from solid 925 sterling silver and carries a hallmark. The mosaic on the elephant's body is created in a multi-stage enamel process: each color area — blue, green, orange — is applied separately and fired at a high temperature, ensuring that each color remains precisely defined. The handle follows the organic line of the elephant's body and fits naturally in the hand due to its curved shape. The bowl of the spoon is smoothly polished.

Occasions and target groups

A 925 silver baby spoon with a blue enamel mosaic is among the gifts presented for a birth, christening, and first birthday. The elephant symbolizes strength, wisdom, and family cohesion; flying represents dreams and imagination. For parents looking for a gift with character for the birth of their son. For godparents who want to present something special for a christening. For grandparents who want to give the classic silver spoon a modern interpretation.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

Engraving is possible upon review — as the handle is curved and partially decorated with enamel, we will check in advance where an engraving can be sensibly implemented. Popular engravings include the child's name, name with date of birth, or name with "from Grandpa" or "from Godfather". Additionally, we offer a complimentary, digitally designed SilberVerse card in 15 × 10 cm photo format (landscape).

Care

Clean by hand with warm water and mild dish soap, then dry with a soft cloth. A silver polishing cloth is sufficient for light patina. The enamel surfaces are fired and permanently sealed, but should not be treated with abrasive cleaners. Not dishwasher safe.
