Material and Workmanship
The zodiac motif at the end of the handle combines plastic relief with gold plating: a gold-plated frame encloses the Virgo symbol, and the star above the constellation also has a golden rim. The gold plating creates a warm contrast to the cool silver tone of the handle and gives the spoon a festive, valuable character.
Occasions and Target Groups
For children born between August 24th and September 23rd. For parents who want to combine two traditions: the silver spoon as a good luck charm and the zodiac sign as a personal symbol. For godparents and grandparents who want to give a gift with astrological reference for a christening.
SilberVerse Card
Engraving is not possible as the back of the handle has a motif embossing. As a personal touch, we offer a free, digitally designed SilberVerse card in photo format 15 × 10 cm (landscape format).
Care Instructions
Clean by hand with warm water and mild dish soap, then dry with a soft cotton cloth. Avoid dishwashers, aggressive cleaning agents, and silver dips, as these could damage the gold plating. A silver polishing cloth is recommended for the polished silver surfaces if needed.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the gold-plated and the classic Virgo variant?
The spoons are identical in shape and size. This variant features gold plating on the frame of the zodiac motif and on the star, while the all-silver version comes without gold accents.
Can the spoon be engraved?
No, the back of the handle has a motif embossing, so there is no free space for an engraving.
What period does the Virgo zodiac sign cover?
Virgo covers the period from August 24th to September 23rd.
