- Weight: approx. 26 g
- Collection: DoDo Line, Zodiac Sign Libra (September 23rd to October 22nd)
Material and Workmanship
Unlike many zodiac signs, this motif does not show an animal or a figure: the stylized Libra stands alone — two orange-red scales hang from yellow-gold crossbar struts, a blue central pillar area gives the symbol its center. Directly below sits the Libra symbol in yellow gold plating. The handle features a large rhombus sphere, a small sphere, several stars in silver and gilding, and wavy line relief. Two sensory nubs on the handle and two nubs on the back of the scales make the spoon a gripping object.
Occasions and Target Groups
For September and October babies, whose christenings often fall into the first family celebrations after the summer holidays. For parents looking for a birth gift that marks the beginning of autumn. For godparents and grandparents who want to give a christening gift for this transitional period.
Engraving and SilberVerse Card
The handle of this spoon has a relief embossing — it cannot be engraved. As a personal touch, we offer a free, digitally designed SilberVerse card in photo format 15 × 10 cm (landscape).
Care
Hand wash with warm water and mild dish soap, then dry with a soft cloth. Not dishwasher safe — enamel and gold plating are sensitive to heat and detergents. A silver polishing cloth is sufficient for shine.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the Libra baby spoon not show an animal, but only the symbol?
Libra is one of the few zodiac signs whose classic symbol is neither an animal nor a figure, but the scales themselves as an image for measure and balance.
Which birthstone is associated with the zodiac sign Libra?
Traditionally, October is associated with opal. No stone is incorporated into the spoon itself — the multi-colored enamel can be reminiscent of the opal's play of colors.
How can the gift be made more personal?
Through the free SilberVerse card, as the handle has a relief embossing.
