Material and Workmanship
The body and claws of the scorpion are light blue, with the back and tail in a stronger dark blue – large black button eyes, compact claws, and a gentle C-shaped tail give the motif a warm, childlike expression. Directly below it sits the Scorpio symbol in yellow gold plating. The handle features a diamond-shaped bead with a crosshatch pattern, a smaller silver bead, several silver and gold-plated stars, and wavy line relief. The bowl is highly polished, with small nubs on the back.
Occasions and Target Groups
For October and November children, whose birth month has its own quieter atmosphere. For parents looking for a birth gift that marks precisely this period. For godparents and grandparents who want to present a christening gift for late autumn.
Engraving and SilberVerse Card
The handle has relief embossing with stars, beads, and wavy lines – therefore, engraving is not possible. As a personal touch, we offer a free, digitally designed SilberVerse card in photo format 15 × 10 cm (landscape format).
Care Instructions
Polish with a soft cloth, do not use abrasive cleaners. Do not put in the dishwasher – enamel and gold plating are sensitive to detergents and heat. For slight tarnishing, a silver polishing cloth is sufficient.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the scorpion on the spoon look so friendly?
The motif is deliberately designed to be child-friendly – large black button eyes, compact claws, and a gentle, rounded tail instead of a threatening stinging gesture.
How can the gift be made more personal?
Through the free SilberVerse card, as the handle has relief embossing and remains without additional engraving.
How do I care for a 925 silver baby spoon with enamel?
