Material and Workmanship
The enamel field in the bowl shows two baby figures: a girl in pink with a pacifier, a boy in blue with a pacifier, both with skin-tone enamel for face and hands. Next to the enamel field is the gold-plated Twins symbol as a second motif element. The handle is covered with a continuous relief embossing of stars, spheres, and spirals. Two nubs on the outside of the bowl provide grip for the spoon, while the inside of the bowl is plain polished.
Occasions and Target Groups
For May and June babies, whose christenings often fall in early summer. For parents looking for a birth gift that marks precisely this period. For godparents and grandparents who want to present a christening gift around Pentecost.
Engraving and SilberVerse Card
The back of the handle has a continuous relief embossing and is therefore not engravable. As a personal touch, we offer a free, digitally designed SilberVerse card in photo format 15 × 10 cm (landscape format) — with birth date, name, and a personal message.
Care
Clean by hand with warm water and mild dish soap, no dishwasher — heat and aggressive cleaning agents can damage the enamel. A soft silver polishing cloth is sufficient for silver shine. Slight variations in enamel color intensity are a sign of craftsmanship, not a defect.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the Twins motif show a girl and a boy?
The double-figure motif represents the zodiac sign Gemini. The colors are a style code, not a gender assignment to the child receiving the spoon.
How can the gift be made more personal?
Via the SilberVerse card, as the back of the handle has a continuous relief embossing.
How do I care for a baby spoon with enamel?
Clean by hand with warm water and mild dish soap, no dishwasher.
