Silver Baby Rattle 925 Angel — Textured Handle, Engraving Panel

A sculpted cherub head with curly hair and feathered wings crowns this baby rattle in 925 sterling silver. The handle below the head is decorated with tendrils, a small diamond shape sits at its base, and at the end there is a smooth, oval panel for an engraving. Zaramella Argenti makes the rattle in Italy.

Silver Angel Rattle with Engraving: a Panel for the Name

The oval panel sits at the end of the handle, surrounded by ornaments, and stays smooth. There is room for up to 10 characters, such as a short first name, a date like 21.03.2027 or initials. Only this panel is engraved; the angel stays as it is. The engraving service fee mentions 20 characters in its name; on this panel, 10 apply. If engraving is ordered, the rattle arrives 1–3 working days later. The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods with individual engraving.

If more needs to be said than fits into ten characters, there is the SilberVerse card: a verse of three to four lines, tailored to the child and the occasion, as a photo, 15 × 10 cm, landscape format, in a frame in silver, white or black, as you choose. The card costs nothing, is added on request and also goes with a rattle without engraving. You can find more on the page SilberVerse.

Cherub Head with Wings: the Motif

The angel is worked as a head, the face looks forward, and wings with feathers spread out to the left and right. Below the head, tendrils run down the handle, and right at the bottom, at the end of the handle, hangs a loop. The rattle is approx. 14 cm long and weighs approx. 27 g; the weight can vary slightly from piece to piece. As a guardian angel, the angel is associated with protection and blessing, an interpretation that suits a christening and a birth.

Care for the rattle with warm water, mild dish soap and a soft cloth; you can reach into the tendrils with a soft brush. After some time silver tarnishes, and a silver polishing cloth polishes it up again. The dishwasher is not for it.

Two Angel Handle Rattles: Head or Disc

Besides this rattle we offer a second handle rattle with an angel. On the rattle with a guardian angel on a round disc, the whole angel sits as a relief on a flat disc, and its grooved handle has no engraving surface. Here the cherub head stands out in relief, and in return the handle carries the engraving panel. For hanging, the cherub head is also available as a cradle medal. Both rattles can be found in our silver baby rattles, and all angel motifs in the angel collection.

For a Birth, a Christening, from the Grandparents: Who Gives the Angel

If you want to welcome the newborn with a guardian angel rattle bearing a name, have the first name engraved. Godparents choose the christening date, and grandparents, for whom the full name would be too long, the initials of the grandchild. If the name is not yet decided, for example at a baby shower, the panel stays smooth without engraving, and the angel is still a complete gift.
