The rattle head is a round, polished silver disc with a fully modeled swan relief: the long neck forms an elegant S, the plumage is drawn with fine feather lines, beneath which gentle waves ripple, framed by reeds and small floral motifs. Inside, small silver balls produce a clear, bright clatter when shaken. The handle tapers to a smooth, teardrop-shaped grip area. Manufactured by the Italian silver manufacturer Zaramella Argenti.
