Material and Craftsmanship
The Kiel represents the sleek, modern side of our silver frames: a flat, smoothly polished silver surface framed by a clean outer edge and a finely stepped inner profile. An anti-tarnish coating preserves the shine for a long time, so you don't have to polish it regularly. The Wenge wood back provides stability and a dark contrast to the bright silver. This piece is curated from Zaramella, representing Italian silversmithing tradition since 1948.
Use and Occasions
An engraved silver frame is one of the most personal gifts you can give: for a wedding with the date of the big day, a milestone anniversary, a christening—also suitable for older children and adults—or as a keepsake of a special moment. The smooth, calm surface of the Kiel allows both the photo and any potential engraving to stand out without distraction.
Engraving and SilberVerse card
You can securely engrave a name, date, or short dedication on the Wenge wood back. We will review the broad, smooth silver border for engraving in collaboration with Zaramella. Simply add the engraving service flat rate to your shopping cart, and we will coordinate the wording with you; if engraving is not possible, we will issue a refund. This transforms the frame into a unique keepsake that belongs to that specific photo. Upon request, we can include a digitally designed SilberVerse card in photo format—a few personal lines to accompany the gift, free of charge.
Care
The anti-tarnish coating maintains the shine for a long time. If necessary, occasional, gentle polishing with a silver polishing cloth is sufficient. For daily cleaning, a soft, dry cloth is enough.
