At a glance

- Design: wide silver surface with gently rounded corners
- Back: wenge wood
- Photo size: approx. 13×18 cm, portrait or landscape
Material and workmanship
The Lyon frame is crafted from 925 sterling silver and polished to a high sheen. The outer corners are gently rounded, and the surface is kept intentionally simple so that it frames the photo without competing with it. An anti-tarnish coating protects the shine for a long time. The back is made of dark wenge wood, a stable hardwood that provides a secure stand for the larger format and creates a calm contrast to the bright silver. Zaramella stands for a line of Italian silversmithing where pure form, clean lines, and high-quality polishing are the primary design elements; we curate these pieces for our assortment.
Usage and occasions
An engraved silver frame is one of the most personal gifts of all: for a wedding with the date of the big day, for a milestone anniversary, or for a baptism — also for older children and adults. In this larger 13×18 size, the Lyon makes a striking impression on a dresser, sideboard, or desk and can be positioned either portrait or landscape.
Engraving and SilberVerse card
The wenge wood back can be engraved securely — a name, a date, or a short dedication turns the frame into a unique keepsake. We can engrave the wide, smooth silver border upon verification with Zaramella. Simply add the flat-rate engraving service to your shopping cart, and we will confirm the wording with you afterward; if the engraving is not possible, we will refund it. Upon request, we will include a digitally designed SilberVerse card in 15×10 cm landscape format, free of charge.
Care
The anti-tarnish coating keeps the silver surface's shine stable for a long time. A soft, dry silver polishing cloth is sufficient for cleaning — you should avoid abrasive polishing agents to ensure the coating remains intact.
