Material and craftsmanship

The Monte Carlo frame is crafted from 925 sterling silver and polished to a high shine. A slightly curved ring encircles the photo, accompanied by a fine beaded trim that gives the round frame a softer, more decorative character than an angular shape. An anti-tarnish coating protects the luster for a long time. The back is made of dark wenge wood, a sturdy hardwood that provides the frame with a secure stand and offers a color contrast to the bright silver. Zaramella stands for a line of Italian silversmithing where pure form and fine details, such as the beaded trim, are the primary design elements; we curate these pieces for our collection.

Usage and occasions

An engraved silver frame is one of the most personal gifts of all: for a wedding with the date of the big day, for a milestone anniversary, or for a baptism—also suitable for older children and adults. In this compact 9×9 size, the Monte Carlo finds its place on a dresser, shelf, or desk without dominating the room.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

The wenge wood back can be engraved securely—a name, a date, or a short dedication makes the frame a unique keepsake. We will check the wide, smooth part of the silver ring with Zaramella to see if it is suitable for engraving. To do this, simply add the flat-rate fee via the engraving service directly to your shopping cart; we will then coordinate the wording with you and refund the fee if an engraving is not possible. Upon request, we will include a digitally designed SilberVerse card in 15×10 cm landscape photo format, free of charge.

Care

The anti-tarnish coating keeps the luster of the silver surface stable for a long time. For cleaning, a soft, dry silver polishing cloth is sufficient—you should avoid abrasive polishing agents so that the coating remains intact.
