The caviar bowl holds 150 ml, with a diameter of 84 mm and a height of 45 mm. The niello ornament sits on its side: floral blossoms and foliage, hand-engraved into the silver and melted black into the engraved depressions. After polishing, the niello sits flush with the silver surface — no application, no layer, no lacquer. A motif that is and remains part of the metal.
