925 Sterling silver is durable and food-safe. Clean the cup after use with lukewarm water and mild dish soap, and dry it with a soft cloth. The enamel dots on the handle are fired at a high temperature and permanently fixed – avoid abrasive cleaners and aggressive detergents here. If patina occurs, a silver polishing cloth with gentle polish on the locomotive relief is sufficient, without applying pressure to the enamel dots.
