Milk jug with lid: porcelain, silver and a rose finial
The case holds the jug with its lid; the pot is not included. At the front sits a small porcelain pouring lip, and at the back the silver handle sweeps out.
The bone china of the jug is fine, supplied by the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory in St. Petersburg. ArgentA contributes the silver setting.
Rose setting on a granulated foot band
Roses and leaves frame the porcelain, and a granulated, closed foot band finishes it at the bottom. The handle carries a rose blossom at its base, the lid a silver rose finial.
Setting and handle are cast and polished by hand. Between the roses, the blackened finish sits as a dark tone; it is not paint.
The rose belongs to the rose anniversary, and it is the motif of this jug.
For a wedding anniversary and as a gift when you are invited
The jug suits a couple looking for something for their shared table on their wedding anniversary. When you are invited, you give it to the hostess. It comes in a case and is easy to hand over.
It suits a birthday just as well, and at Christmas it stands next to the pot under the tree. On the coffee table, it tops up milk or cream, and the rose finial on the lid is easy to see from across the table.
Jug and coffee pot of the Rose line
The Rose coffee pot carries the same setting in a large format. You can give both individually or together; they do not form a set.
Personal words: engraving after checking, plus the SilberVerse
If you would like something personal on the jug, tell us your wish in a message, by email or WhatsApp. Engraving is possible after checking. The request goes to the manufacturer, and then we design lettering and layout with you. If it cannot be done, you get the amount back.
On request, we include the SilberVerse free of charge. From the occasion and names, an individually created verse takes shape, on a photo card 15 × 10 cm in size.
Rose milk jug: quick answers
Does the jug have a lid?
Yes, the lid is porcelain and carries a silver rose finial. The pot of the line carries the same finial, so the two look like they belong together.
How much does it hold?
The capacity is approx. 150 ml, the height approx. 95 mm.
What is the difference between Rose and Rosalia?
Both share porcelain and finial. Rose finishes at the bottom with a closed, granulated band, while the Rosalia milk jug stands on a ring of arches.
Is it suitable as a wedding anniversary gift?
Yes, it is small enough for any table and carries the rose. The wedding anniversary gifts in silver offer more ideas.
Is it a Christmas gift?
Yes, especially next to the recipient’s coffee pot. The 925 silver Christmas gifts show a selection that the jug fits into.
How do I care for the jug?
Clean the jug by hand in lukewarm water and dry it gently. A silver polishing cloth refreshes the raised areas.
