Silver Demitasse Cup with Roses: Porcelain in a Silver Setting — Rosalia

A small cup with a fence of silver roses growing around it. This silver demitasse cup with roses is a white porcelain cup (70 ml) in a 925 silver setting and comes in a case. Rosalia is the name of the line at the manufacturer; for a birthday, it is a gift for anyone who loves their Turkish coffee.

Silver demitasse cup with roses: how it sits in its case

The case holds a single cup, without spoon and without saucer. The cup is straight-sided, its rim flares slightly, and a fine dark line traces it.

The porcelain, fine bone china, comes from the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory in St. Petersburg. The silver setting is made by ArgentA.

A fence of roses, a ring of arches and a handle shaped like a rose stem

Roses with leaves and stems run around the cup like a fence. At the bottom, an openwork ring of small arches finishes the setting. The handle is a rose stem, with a blossom where it joins the cup at the top.

The fence of roses is made by art casting, after which the silver is polished by hand. The blackened finish is not lacquer: it sets the recesses between the roses off in a dark tone, while the blossoms stay bright.

Roses are seen as the flower of affection, a fitting motif for a personal gift.

For a birthday: a cup for one person

The cup is meant for one person, for example a woman who enjoys her Turkish coffee and already owns a great deal. For her birthday, it gives her a piece that is hers alone.

It also finds its place at Christmas. You will find more ideas among the silver birthday gifts.

Rosalia on its own, with a spoon or for two

The line is available as a single cup, as a cup with spoon and as a set for two people. This cup stands on its own.

With a coffee spoon in the case, it comes as the silver demitasse cup with spoon. The matching pot is the Rosalia Turkish coffee pot.

A dedication on the silver and the SilberVerse card

A word or a date on the silver? Let us know in the order note at checkout. Engraving is possible after checking, because we ask the manufacturer first. You decide together with us how the line should look. If the silver is not suitable, we refund you or choose another piece for you.

A SilberVerse suits the piece, free on request. The verse is created individually for the occasion and name and printed on a small card: the photo card measures 15 × 10 cm.
