Description
When closed, this piece is a 925 sterling silver trinket box with a dense niello ornament and seven garnets. Opened, it transforms into three wearable pieces: the lid becomes a brooch, the wall of the box opens up into a bracelet, and the base reveals an inset hand mirror. A decorative object with a double bottom – literally.

Material and workmanship
The round lid features a floral niello medallion on the front with a central garnet cabochon, while the back has a brooch pin with a clasp – the lid can be removed and worn as a brooch. The cylindrical body of the trinket box, the wide band with the dense niello ornament and the further garnets, is equipped with hinges and opens into a bracelet that can be placed around the wrist; the inside is completely gold-plated. The underside shows a golden repoussé flower ornament on the outside, and a real mirror on the inside, framed by a golden border with four more garnet cabochons.
In total, seven garnets are incorporated: an oval cabochon in the center of the lid and six smaller cabochons distributed on the bracelet and mirror frame. The rich red of the garnets forms the fourth shade of this piece alongside silver, niello black and 24-karat gold.

Care
Clean Diana with a soft, dry silver polishing cloth. Open and close the hinges of the bracelet and lid carefully to protect the mechanism. It is best to wipe the mirror glass with a dry, lint-free cloth. Store the piece dry, ideally in the included gift box with a velvet insert.
