Material and workmanship
The four cups each feature a small handle and a gold-toned top rim, with a band of black niello ornamentation running around the body of the cup below it. The contrast between polished silver, gold, and black niello gives each cup its own distinct look. The flat serving tray (163 x 137 mm, 5 mm high) features a matching niello ornament on the edge and serves as a stage for all four cups – ensuring the set appears as a cohesive unit rather than four randomly assembled pieces.
Usage and occasions
Each of the four cups holds 35 milliliters and weighs approx. 44 grams – noticeably heavy for its compact size, with the handle making it easy to hold. The set is suitable for men's birthdays, business anniversaries, retirement parties, or as a Christmas gift for those who value quality. Four identical cups mean four equal guests – ideal for a convivial evening for four or as a permanent display in a cabinet.
Engraving and SilberVerse card
Upon request, we will include a personal 15 x 10 cm (landscape) SilberVerse card – individually designed to suit the occasion and free of charge. Simply state your request when placing your order.
Care
Clean all pieces after use with warm water and a soft cloth. For occasional tarnishing, a silver polishing cloth is suitable, but do not scrub the gold-plated rim. Not dishwasher safe. Store the pieces separately in the gift box to prevent scratches.
