The complete Floralis service for two

The teapot holds 550 ml — four to five cups without refilling. The cups hold 140 ml. The sugar bowl holds 220 ml. Together, this creates a fully set silver table for two people, with no missing pieces.

The Floralis collection is configurable for any number of people on request — for 1, 2, 4, 6 or more people. Individual pieces can be reordered at any time: additional cups and saucers, teaspoons, milk & cream jugs (SW10192, 220 ml), coffee pot (SW10181, 800 ml) or the large open sugar bowl (SW10188, 400 ml). The niello ornament of the Floralis collection

All eight pieces bear the same floral niello pattern: blossoms, tendrils, leaves in the botanical plant style of the Veliky Ustyug school. Niello is not printing ink, not enamel, not a coating. It is a black metal alloy — fused into engraved depressions, chemically bonded, insoluble. What is on this service will be exactly the same in thirty years. Silver tarnishes — niello does not.

SevChern has been using this technique since 1933 with over 15 steps per piece — as the only active manufacturer of niello silver of this kind worldwide. In 1937, SevChern won the gold medal at the Paris World Exhibition.

Engraving, SilberVerse card & care

Care: Hand wash with lukewarm water and mild dish soap — no dishwasher. The niello ornament is permanently fused; normal cleaning does not harm it. Do not use silver dip. Polish the matted silver surface with a soft silver polishing cloth. Store in the gift box.
