Material and craftsmanship

The bowl of this stemmed glass features a dense floral ornament that covers the entire surface — tendrils and blossoms in fine engraving, filled with black niello and framed by golden interstices that make the pattern stand out in the light. The baluster stem, with its characteristic golden sphere, supports the bowl on a wide, equally ornate base. Crafted from 925 sterling silver and refined with niello and gilding, this glass represents the aesthetic of the Zaren-Fest line: powerful in its pattern density, restrained in its overall appearance.

Use and occasions

With a capacity of approx. 330 ml, this stemmed glass is versatile — for wine, water, or a sophisticated digestif at a private dinner, in a fireside lounge, or on a representative sideboard. Its calm yet unmistakable presence makes it a suitable gift for collectors of high-quality silver objects, for hosts who wish to complement their table with a special piece, or for business and ceremonial occasions where a lasting gift is required. This glass also cuts a fine figure as a decorative piece for a home bar or a display case ensemble.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

Engraving is possible upon verification — we will coordinate with the manufacturer to determine a location where personalization will not disrupt the niello ornament. For engravings, we can include a SilberVerse card in 15 × 10 cm landscape format upon request — a digitally customized card tailored to the occasion, recipient, and message, each one individually written and free of charge.

Care

Clean the silver and gilding by hand only — using lukewarm water, a mild dish soap, and a soft cloth. Aggressive cleaners and scouring agents should be avoided, as they can damage the gilded surfaces. A high-quality silver polishing cloth helps to maintain the shine permanently. With regular polishing, the contrasts between the silver, gold, and niello black will deepen over time.
