The bowl of this table spoon is fully gilded on the outside, and its back features a delicate floral engraving – blossom and leaf motifs that emerge in gilded lines from the silver background. At the end of the handle, a floral niello ornament in dark blue-black completes the picture: a dark silver alloy is melted into finely pre-engraved lines and permanently bonded with the silver – like ink in silver, no printing, no coating.
