Table spoon made of 925 silver with gold plating, Niello Astra Gold
Gold Sheen and Niello — Astra for the Festive Table
Description
When silver, gold, and niello art combine, the result is more than just a piece of cutlery. This table spoon from the Astra Gold collection features a fully gold-plated bowl and a handle adorned with a floral niello ornament – classic elegance with an embellishment rooted in centuries-old Russian silversmithing.

Material and craftsmanship
The bowl of this table spoon is completely gold-plated – a continuous, warm gold tone without additional engraving that speaks for itself. At the end of the handle is a floral niello ornament: a dark silver alloy is melted into finely pre-engraved lines and permanently fused with the silver – like ink in silver; it is not a print or a coating. The contrast between the shiny gold and the matte, dark niello pattern gives the spoon its calm, classic character. The spoon is hallmarked.
Usage and occasions
This table spoon is suitable as a dinner or soup spoon for the festive table and as a complement to existing silver cutlery. As a gift, it is perfect for a milestone birthday, a wedding, or a grandchild's christening – combined with other pieces from the Astra collection, you can create a set of cutlery that grows over the years. It is also a stylish choice as a gift for parents, grandparents, or valued business partners. You can find matching table forks, table knives, and dessert spoons from the Astra line in our table silver assortment.
Engraving and SilberVerse card
Individual engraving is only possible to a very limited extent on this spoon – please feel free to contact us so we can check together whether and where an engraving can be added without affecting the gold plating or the niello pattern. Alternatively, we recommend the 15 × 10 cm landscape-format SilberVerse card for a personal dedication: digitally designed, with a personal line, included free of charge with the gift box.
Care
Clean the spoon exclusively by hand using a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid using the dishwasher to protect the gold plating and the niello design. Store in a dry place, ideally in the included gift box.
