Baby rattle 925 silver Teddy Medallion — spherical shape

Instead of a disk, this 925 sterling silver baby rattle features a bear's face on a round sphere, the surface of which is finely textured and pierced by small openings. The stem below continues the dots and small floral rosettes — a piece that relies entirely on motif and structure, without an engraving area.

Material and Craftsmanship

The sphere is finely textured, with a bear's face in relief on its surface, surrounded by small round openings that bring light and shadow to the structure. The stem continues the dot pattern and also features small floral rosettes. The Italian silver manufacturer Zaramella carries this rattle in its range under the model name "Ball with Bear" (item TNY3003-OR).

Usage and Development

The round shape lies securely in small hands from birth, with no sharp edges and easy to grip from any side. The openwork surface and the floral rosettes on the stem offer a variety of tactile stimuli. Typically, children start moving the sphere themselves and exploring the structure under their fingers from the fourth month of life.

No engraving, but a SilberVerse card

The perforated, dotted surface of the sphere and the floral rosettes on the stem do not leave a smooth area for engraving. If you still want a personal touch, you can choose the complimentary SilberVerse card: a verse that creatively incorporates the child's name and the occasion, printed on photo paper in a 15 × 10 cm format — more details can be found on our page About SilberVerse.

The Teddy Medallion family

The same bear's face also appears on the Teddy Medallion baby rattle, stem with engraving field, where it appears as a relief on a round disk with a smooth area for an engraving. A fully sculpted bear figure instead of the disk is featured in the Sitting Teddy family, also part of the 925 Silver Baby Rattles collection.

Care

With a soft brush and a little dish soap in lukewarm water, you can also reach the openings and rosettes of the sphere. For initial tarnish, a quick pass with a silver polishing cloth is sufficient. Abrasives and the dishwasher are unsuitable for this piece.
