Material and workmanship

The basic shape is classic cylindrical with a slightly raised rim — the purist silhouette of the DoDo collection. The angel relief is embossed plastically into the silver: folded hands, halo, softly curved wings, embedded in a cloud-shaped contour. The motif appears calm and ethereal, not naturalistic, but intended as a symbol. No enamel field, no color on the relief itself — pure silver that works through shape and light. The DoDo signature is on the handle: colorful enamel dots in green, yellow and blue, developed with pediatricians, speech therapists and child psychologists to promote fine motor skills, tactile sense and color perception when gripping.

The guardian angel is the central baptismal motif in the Christian tradition — it stands for heavenly guidance, protection and care throughout life. Care

925 Sterling silver is durable and food-safe. After use, rinse with lukewarm water and mild detergent, dry with a soft cloth. The enamel dots on the handle are fired at high temperature — no abrasive cleaners, no aggressive detergents. For patina, a silver polishing cloth with gentle polish helps, especially on the fine wing details with a soft cloth. Do not put in the dishwasher, no silver baths directly on the enamel. Between uses, it is best to store the cup in the DoDo gift box or a velvet pouch.

Is the angel cup only suitable for religious families?
No. The motif originated in a Christian context, but has long since established itself as a timeless symbol of protection and safekeeping — many non-religious families choose it as a beautiful, lasting image.

Is the cup suitable for girls or boys?
