Material and craftsmanship

The warm red enamel is fired at a high temperature, creating a durable, color-fast motif with a vivid sense of depth. Gold-plated lines frame the entire silhouette of the crab—claws, legs, and shell stand out in relief. Three enamel dots in green, yellow, and blue add extra splashes of color to the handle, while the spoon bowl is highly polished.

Tactile development concept

The colorful enamel dots along the handle attract the baby's gaze, reinforced by the striking contrast of the red crab motif. Raised relief points on both sides of the handle provide a secure grip for small hands and train fine motor skills. Three gentle indentations in the spoon bowl touch the baby's tongue during feeding, stimulating the sense of taste. The three-dimensionally shaped crab with its tangible claws, legs, and shell invites tactile exploration.

Occasions and target groups

A 925 silver baby spoon with enamel is among the gifts presented for a birth, christening, or first birthday. As a motif, the crab stands for security, protection, and family cohesion. For babies with the zodiac sign Cancer (June 22 to July 22), the spoon has an additional personal dimension. For godparents who want to give a personal christening gift—the crab as a protector makes the spoon a symbol of godparenthood.

Engraving and SilberVerse card

Engraving is possible subject to assessment—typically a name, name with date, or name with "from Grandma" or "from Godfather," maximum 2 words or 20 characters on the back of the handle. Additionally, we offer a complimentary, digitally designed SilberVerse card in 15 × 10 cm photo format (landscape orientation).

Care

Clean by hand with warm water and mild dish soap, dry with a soft cloth. For light patina, a silver polishing cloth is sufficient. Do not treat enamel and gold plating with aggressive cleaning agents or scouring agents. Not dishwasher safe.
