Silver Baby Rattle 925 Dumbbell — Beaded Rim, Domed, Engravable

Round silver beads sit as if strung in a row on the rim of the discs of this dumbbell rattle, and the centre within them is domed and reflective. A grip holds the discs together. The rattle is made in 925 sterling silver by Zaramella Argenti in Italy; a name, a date or initials can be engraved on the free surface of the discs.

Silver Dumbbell Rattle with Beads: How the Rim Is Set

The beads are round, clearly larger than on the ring of beads and set a little apart. They stand raised on the rim of the disc, can be traced with a fingertip and frame the domed centre. For small hands that feel everything, the row of beads is a detail to touch, and that is all it is meant to be.

At approx. 8.5 cm long and approx. 28 g in weight, the rattle sits compactly in the hand; the silver weight turns out slightly differently for every piece.

Domed Disc, Free Surface: What Can Be Engraved

The engraving goes in the centre of the disc, inside the beaded rim, and is possible on both sides. It is intended for a short name, a date or initials. Because the disc is domed, the font size and the wording decide how it looks. We agree both with you after your order; you do not need to clarify anything beforehand.

You order the rattle and the engraving service fee in one go, and any questions about the wording come from us afterwards. Should the engraving not succeed on the piece, we refund the fee to you. The engraving moves the delivery date back by 1 to 3 working days. Since the right of withdrawal is excluded for goods with an individual engraving, it is best to check the spelling and the date twice.

If you want to say more than a disc can hold, you can also receive the SilberVerse card on request, free of charge. For this, a verse of three to four lines is created from your details with the help of AI, in the language of your choice, and printed as a photo card in landscape format at 15 × 10 cm; the standard frame for it is available in silver, white or black.

Dumbbell Baby Rattle with a Beaded Rim or with a Ring of Beads: the Differences

The dumbbell with a ring of beads has a flat central field enclosed by a finely set ring. This one is domed and carries the larger beads on the outside. If you are looking for a calm surface for the lettering, take a look at the smooth dumbbell without beads; the dumbbell with a teddy bear offers a bear relief instead of beads and no engraving surface.

As a Godparent Gift, for Grandparents and for a Birth

Godparents are the obvious givers: a silver rattle with the date of the christening on the disc is a godparent gift with a personal touch. Grandparents like to engrave their grandchild’s name, and the date of birth can be added just as well as the date of the christening.

Caring for the Dome and the Row of Beads

The domed disc is reflective, which is why fingerprints are particularly noticeable here. A soft cloth is usually enough; a soft brush helps on the beads, and a silver polishing cloth with tarnished silver. Use water and mild washing-up liquid only lukewarm; the dishwasher is not suitable.
