Silver Baby Rattle 925 Girl — Ball Rattle

This ball rattle in 925 sterling silver carries a girl as a flat relief on a finely granulated ball; dots and blossoms follow on the handle. As a ball rattle for girls it is a gift for a birth or a christening. The manufacturer is Zaramella Argenti of Italy.

Ball Rattle Girl Silver: Granulated Ball with Flat Relief

The ball is lightly textured, the girl curves only slightly out of the surface, and bows hold her hair. A small loop sits where the handle joins the ball. The handle widens towards the end and carries a row of raised dots and, towards the end of the grip, small blossoms that likewise curve slightly.

The rattle measures approx. 12.5 cm and weighs approx. 25 g; the silver weight varies slightly from piece to piece.

Ball or Figure: the Difference from the Girl Rattle on a Handle

On the handle rattle with the girl, a whole figure in a dress stands at the end of the handle. Here the girl lies as a relief on a ball, and the shape is calmer and round. If you are looking for a girl motif without dress, curls and shoes, the ball is the right choice. For a boy there is the handle rattle with the boy figure. A girl is also available on the teething ring and as a cradle medal.

Engraving Not Possible: SilberVerse for the Name

Ball and handle are designed throughout, with no smooth surface anywhere, so engraving is not possible. A SilberVerse card goes well with the rattle, free of charge on request: the verse is written for the occasion and the name, in the language you wish, and arrives in the standard frame in silver, white or black. The name on silver is possible with the heart handle rattle with a smooth handle.

Ball Rattle for Girls: for a Birth, a Christening and the First Visit

For a birth the ball rattle suits as a gift for the girl and her parents, and for a christening as a present from the godmother. If you are visiting for the first time after the birth, it gives you something to bring along.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Ball Rattle with a Girl

Can the girl be seen on both sides of the ball?
Yes, the relief is the same on both sides.

What is there to feel on this rattle?
The fine graining of the ball, the flat curve of the girl, the row of dots on the handle and the blossoms, with smooth silver surfaces in between. Small hands keep finding a different spot there.

Is the ball rattle also available without a girl motif?
Yes, as a ball rattle with heart medallion and as a ball rattle with teddy. Both motifs suit any child; further shapes are shown by the silver baby rattles.

How do I clean the granulated ball?
Graining and blossoms hold dust. A soft brush takes it away, after which you dab the rattle clean in lukewarm water with mild dish soap and dry it softly. More tips are in the care guide for children’s silver.

Is gift packaging included?
Yes, the gift box is part of it, elegant and ready to hand over. If you would also like the rattle in gift paper, let us know when you order; the design of the box may change.

Does the ball rattle with girl have a hallmark?
The ball rattle with girl is hallmarked, of course. We're happy to send you photos in advance — just write to us. It also comes with the maker's certificate card.
