Gift Set 925 Silver Train — Ball Rattle + Birth Spoon, Engravable

The train runs twice: across the rattle ball and across the end of the spoon. This gift set in 925 silver brings together a silver christening rattle with a birth spoon that carries a clock face. Both pieces can be engraved. If you want to get your bearings first, take a look at the silver baby rattles.

Silver christening rattle: train on the ball, clock face on the spoon

A train runs in fine lines across the ball of the rattle. You can make out the locomotive and carriages with several wheels, with a band of track below. The small loop sits at the neck, and the handle carries scrolls and tendrils.

The spoon has an oval, smooth bowl. At the end of the handle another train runs, with a round clock face with a center point below it. A scrolled finish frames the end.

The lines of the train and clock face stand out against the silver, which is polished to a high shine.

Engraving: names, date and time of birth

The spoon takes more than a name. The hand for the time of birth goes into the clock face, and weight and length go as numbers into the wagons at the end of the handle. These fields are small and hold only numbers. Name and date go on the back of the handle. A flat fee for up to 30 characters applies to the spoon.

The rattle has two small fields on the handle: one for a short name, one for a date or initials.

For words that will not fit on the silver, you can request the SilberVerse, free of charge. It is a verse about your child, created individually for the occasion and name. The format: 15 × 10 cm.

The birth spoon as a gift

Grandparents give it for the birth, godparents for the christening. If you want to record the date of birth, the clock face gives you a place for it. The train is a motif for all children.

Care: silver and clock face

After rinsing in warm water, dry both pieces with a soft cloth. Avoid the dishwasher. The silver polishing cloth is fine for touching up, but only on the shiny surfaces.

Birth spoon and silver rattle with train: brief answers

What is a birth spoon?
A birth spoon records the details of the birth. A clock face shows the time of birth, two small fields take the weight and length, and there is room for name and date. In this way, the spoon carries the birth details in silver.

How many engraving flat fees do I need for the rattle and spoon?
One per piece: the engraving service for the rattle and the engraving service with 30 characters for the birth spoon. Both go into the cart with the items. What should go on the rattle and what on the spoon goes in your order note at checkout. We then check what is feasible. Whatever cannot be done, we refund.

Is the birth spoon also a christening gift?
Yes. The birth details are still the same at the christening, so the spoon suits both occasions. It tells more than a name alone.

Is the train also available individually or with other pieces?
This combination is one of many. The ball rattle with train and the birth spoon with birth clock are also available individually. You can, for example, add a children's cup with train to them.
