Children's cutlery with Strawberry Girl and Bee Bear: who sits where?

In this set, the Strawberry Girl leads on the spoon and the Bee Bear sits on the fork. That is why the gold-plated bee belongs to the fork. The same figures also come in other combinations: mirrored, with the bear on the spoon, Strawberry Girl on both pieces or Bee Bear on both pieces. The figures: headscarf, strawberry, shirt and bee

The Strawberry Girl is a flat enamel figure framed in silver. She wears a red headscarf over yellow hair, a green dress with three red diamonds on the hem, and orange arms. Her face stays silver. Below her sits a red strawberry with a green leaf.

The Bee Bear wears a white shirt with red diamonds and black trousers. His ears and paws are black, and his face is silver with black features. The bee below him is gold-plated; the cutlery has no other gold plating.

Below each figure, three embossed tracks run down the handle: footprints for the girl, paw prints for the bear. You can feel them with your finger. Finally, the silver is polished by hand to a high shine.

Engraving on both pieces: a name for spoon and fork

The engraving goes on the back of the handle, with a maximum of 10 characters per piece, on the spoon as well as the fork. That is enough for a short first name. For each piece you want engraved, add one engraving flat fee to your cart, so two for two pieces. Your wording goes into the order note at checkout. If it cannot be carried out, we refund the flat fee. The flat fee says “20 characters”, but the handle only has room for 10 per piece. Care and supervision

After the meal, both pieces go briefly into lukewarm water and then onto a soft cloth. Treat the enamel and gold plating just like the rest of the silver. Like any children's cutlery, this set belongs on the table only under supervision, especially the fork with its four tines.

Questions about the cutlery with Strawberry Girl and Bee Bear

When do you give children's cutlery for a christening or birth?
On the christening day, after the birth or for the first birthday; there is no fixed rule. With a name on the handle, the cutlery later becomes the child's own.

Can I have different texts engraved on the spoon and fork?
Yes. Just note which piece each wording is for. Each text may have a maximum of 10 characters, for example a first name on the spoon and a pet name on the fork.

How heavy is the set?
Together, the spoon and fork weigh approx. 53 g without packaging. The spoon measures approx. 12.5 cm, the fork approx. 12.9 cm.

Can silver with enamel go in the dishwasher?
No, the cutlery does not belong in the machine. Hot water and detergents are hard on silver. Instead, rinse the cutlery briefly by hand and dry it straight away.
