Material and craftsmanship

The crest consists of several layers: a deep blue enamel surface with fine wavy lines forms the background, with a shield in a darker blue in the center, flanked by golden ribbons. The different shades of blue give the motif depth and make it appear three-dimensional. Above it sits the golden crown – the recurring symbol of the Royal Childhood collection. Unlike the floral tendrils of the princess version, the handle of the prince version is deliberately kept simple and polished, without further ornaments – a design decision that gives space to the crest.
