Material and workmanship

All 24 pieces are made of 925 sterling silver and feature the fine niello engraving on the front and back. Niello is a thousands-of-years-old refinement technique: a black alloy is burned into fine, previously incised patterns, forming a chemical-physical bond with the silver — not a lacquer that could peel off. The contrast between the shiny silver and the dark inlay deepens over time and with regular polishing, instead of fading. The surface is food-safe and suitable for daily as well as festive dining.

Use and occasions

A complete 24-piece cutlery set for six people is suitable for occasions where an entire table is newly equipped or supplemented — as a wedding gift, for a silver wedding, or as a conscious purchase for one's own collection. If you wish to expand your table later, the set can be supplemented with serving cutlery, dessert cutlery, or matching silver tableware upon request; a combination with matching porcelain or an additional gilding and individual engraving of initials or logo is also possible upon request.

Care

Clean the set exclusively by hand with warm water and mild dish soap, then immediately dry with a soft cloth. Dishwashers are unsuitable, as aggressive cleaners and high temperatures can damage the niello inlay. If the silver tarnishes over time, a special silver polishing cloth will help restore its original shine.
