The case holds a sugar bowl with lid (approx. 155 ml), six demitasse cups of approx. 70 ml each and six coffee spoons. Together, that makes thirteen silver pieces.
Six cups and the body of the bowl are bone china from the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory in St. Petersburg; ArgentA supplies the setting, handles and spoons. The lid of the bowl is also porcelain and carries a porcelain knob.
Bowl and cups in one line: column band and scroll band
Bowl and cups carry the same setting: vertical cut-outs below, a band of acanthus and scrolls above. The bowl has two volute handles, each cup has one.
The whole service is bright polished; column band and scroll band match on cups and bowl. Thirteen silver pieces go through the same final step: polishing by hand until cups, bowl and spoons shine evenly.
