Demitasse cup with saucer: a place setting with a plain spoon
Three pieces form the place setting: a demitasse cup of approx. 70 ml, a porcelain saucer approx. 105 mm in diameter and a plain coffee spoon of approx. 110 mm. They come in the manufacturer's gift packaging.
Cup and saucer are fine bone china made by the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory in St. Petersburg; ArgentA supplies the setting and spoon in 925 silver. The result is porcelain in a silver setting for one person.
Beaded relief circle, scroll band, volute handle
The saucer is a flat dish of white porcelain. In its centre, a circle of beads appears in relief, and a fine dark line runs along the rim.
On the setting of the cup, vertical cut-outs run along the bottom. Above them, acanthus with scrolls extends around the cup; the handle is shaped as an open volute. The spoon has a plain handle.
The setting shines bright polished; scroll band and cut-outs stand out through light and shadow. Setting and spoon are finally polished by hand until the silver on cup and handle shines evenly.
