Demitasse cups with saucers for 2: the whole place setting in a case
The place setting has six pieces: two demitasse cups, two porcelain saucers and two coffee spoons.
Cups and saucers are bone china; the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory in St. Petersburg made them, and ArgentA sets the cups in silver.
Beaded relief circle, rim line and scroll band
The saucer measures approx. 105 mm in diameter. In the centre, the saucer carries a circle of beads in relief, and at the rim a fine dark line.
Each cup sits in a setting with vertical cut-outs and a scroll band. The handle curves into an open volute. The silver of cups and spoons is finally polished by hand, while the saucers remain porcelain.
The setting shines bright polished, nothing here is blackened; the beaded relief circle belongs to the saucer alone.
