The case holds four pieces: two demitasse cups of approx. 70 ml each and two coffee spoons.
Both cups are made the same way. Together, they make porcelain in a silver setting for two.
Both cups are bone china from the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory in St. Petersburg, and ArgentA sets them in silver.
Column band and scroll band, twice the same
Both settings show vertical cut-outs at the bottom and a scroll band with acanthus at the top. The handle of each cup is an open volute. The spoons are plain, and their handle ends are bevelled.
Each of the four silver pieces is finally polished by hand, so that both cups and both spoons match.
The setting is bright polished and not blackened; the column band stays silver, and only the cut-outs cast shadows.
