Capercaillie silver demitasse cup: porcelain held by a branch handle
Two pieces lie in the case: the demitasse cup holding approx. 70 ml and a coffee spoon. The cup is approx. 55 mm tall and wide, and the white porcelain is smooth.
The cup is smooth bone china from the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory in St. Petersburg; ArgentA surrounds it with a silver setting.
Two capercaillies, branches and a branch handle
The setting shows two capercaillies between branches. The handle is shaped like a branch and carries foliage, and a polished foot ring finishes it at the bottom. The capercaillie is the largest grouse in Europe and lives in coniferous and mountain forests.
The spoon ends in a cartouche with a plain field, alongside a shell and scrollwork. Capercaillies, branches and branch handle are cast; finally, the silver is polished to a shine by hand.
The blackened finish sets off plumage and conifer twigs in dark tones in the recesses, while the raised areas stay bright; it is not paint.
For a hunting friend's birthday
A fireplace in the hunting room, antlers on the wall, a small cup of strong coffee after the meal: the cup fits into this scene. As a birthday gift for hunters, it carries a forest motif.
It is also suitable as a thank-you to a hunting friend. At Christmas, it stands in the hunting lodge next to the Advent biscuits.
More Capercaillie: two cups, the sugar bowl, the whole table
The cup becomes a pair with the Capercaillie demitasse set for two. The Capercaillie sugar bowl completes the table.
If you are looking for more pieces for hunters, you will find them in the collection 925 silver hunting gifts.
A name on the silver, a verse for the hunting friend
A name or a date on the silver, for a birthday perhaps? Let us know, either in the order note at checkout when you pay, or beforehand by WhatsApp or email. Whether the wish can be carried out is decided by the manufacturer after checking. We design the lettering with you. If it is not possible, we refund you or choose another piece.
If you wish, add the SilberVerse for the hunting friend, free on request: a verse created individually, tailored to the occasion and names. The photo card format: 15 × 10 cm.
