Capercaillie demitasse set: two cups and two spoons
Four pieces wait in the case: two demitasse cups of approx. 70 ml each and two coffee spoons. The cups are designed alike.
Both cups are white bone china from the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory in St. Petersburg, set in silver by ArgentA.
Capercaillies and branch handles, twice the same
Both settings show two capercaillies between branches, and the handles are shaped like branches. The capercaillie's courtship display takes place in spring.
At the end, the spoons carry a cartouche whose field stays plain, along with a shell and scrollwork. Branches, birds and branch handles are cast, and then each of the four silver pieces is polished by hand.
The blackened finish keeps plumage and branches dark in the recesses, while the raised areas shine bright; it is not a lacquer.
For a hunting couple: a break by the fireplace
A hunting couple knows the break after a session in the high seat. For a milestone birthday, this set is ready for when a strong coffee follows the meal.
It is just as suitable for a retirement. At Christmas, it is a gift for the hunting lodge.
With saucers, with a sugar bowl, as a single cup
With porcelain saucers, the same cups are available as the Capercaillie demitasse cups with saucers. Together with a sugar bowl, making five silver pieces, the Capercaillie demitasse set with sugar bowl is ready.
A single cup is offered as the Capercaillie demitasse cup with spoon. If you want to give more to hunters, take a look at the collection 925 silver hunting gifts.
Engraving after checking and SilberVerse for the hunting couple
Two names or a date on the silver for the hunting couple? Ask beforehand by email or WhatsApp, or leave the idea in the order note at checkout when you pay. The manufacturer checks whether it is feasible. We then talk with you about lettering and layout. If it fails, we refund you.
A greeting for the hunting couple: the SilberVerse, free of charge on request. As a photo card 15 × 10 cm comes a verse that we relate individually to the occasion and names.
