Two demitasse cups of approx. 70 ml each lie side by side in the case, porcelain in a silver setting, bright polished.
Both cups are bone china; it was made by the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory in St. Petersburg, and ArgentA sets it in silver.

Both settings: column band, acanthus, volute handle
Each cup sits in a setting with vertical cut-outs below and a band of acanthus and scrolls above. The handles sweep as open volutes, and the white porcelain widens towards the rim.
Both settings are bright polished; light and shadow in the cut-outs draw the column band.
Both settings receive their polish by hand at the end, so that volutes and cut-outs shine alike on both cups.
For an anniversary, two cups for the short break
