Sugar Bowl and Milk Jug Set with Teapot — Royal Hunt

Three pheasants on three lids: the table around the pot. The sugar bowl and milk jug set with teapot comprises five pieces of bone china and 925 silver: pot, sugar bowl, milk jug, lemon fork and sugar scoop. Cups are not included, and everything lies in the case. It is a gift for hunters, and the line is called Royal Hunt.

Sugar bowl and milk jug set with teapot: what is in the case

The table set has 5 pieces: a teapot, a sugar bowl, a milk jug, a lemon fork and a sugar scoop. Cups, spoons and saucers are not included.

All three vessels carry a porcelain lid with a pheasant as the finial. The pot has a long spout and a volute handle with a bird. The sugar bowl has two volute handles, the milk jug a pouring lip and a handle.

Sugar bowl, milk jug and teapot are white bone china; it was made at the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory in St. Petersburg, and ArgentA supplies the silver.

Three pheasants, a fork and a shell scoop

A silver pheasant sits on every lid. Rocaille cartouches with hunting scenes frame the vessels, and their foot is ribbed. The lemon fork has two tines, the sugar scoop the shape of a shell. Both handles carry tendril work.

From the pheasant on the lid to the shell scoop, every silver part is cast and finally polished by hand.

The relief in the cartouches gains its depth from the blackened finish, which darkens the recesses; raised areas stay bright.

Completing the table: the set for the cups of the line

This set leaves out the cups because the line already has them. If you own them, the set completes the table. The Royal Hunt tea cup holds approx. 200 ml and is also available as a cup set and with a spoon.

Hosts who invite hunting friends to tea on Sundays place sugar and milk right beside it. Fork and scoop lie in the same case for this purpose.

Table set or tea service: where the difference lies

The Royal Hunt tea service contains cups and spoons, but no milk jug. This set brings milk jug, lemon fork and sugar scoop, but no cups and spoons.

The same pot is available on its own as the Royal Hunt 1 litre teapot. If you are looking for a place setting with cups for two, take a look at the Royal Hunt tea set for two.

An engraving wish on the silver and the SilberVerse for the table

Should the set carry a name or a date? Engraving is possible after checking. You can ask by email or WhatsApp just as well as via the order note at checkout when you buy. The manufacturer clarifies whether it is possible on the silver parts. We then decide with you how the text looks in lettering and layout. If it cannot be done, you get the amount back.

A greeting for the laid table: the SilberVerse, a verse we create free on request, individually for the occasion and names, as a photo card 15 × 10 cm.
