Horse and Horseshoe in One Picture
Horse and horseshoe are both worked in silver; the blue velvet shows through the openwork tendrils. The tendrils are finely engraved and filled with niello, while the horse itself stays bright. At the ends of the arms sit two fields with a fine lattice pattern.
Delicate: the Size
At around 12 centimeters along each side, the piece is one of the manufacturer’s delicate wall pictures. It fits on a desk, on a shelf beside trophies or on the windowsill of a riders’ lounge. It is too delicate for a large wall.
For Riders, Breeders and Horse Lovers
For a tournament win, a first horse of your own or a birthday in the stable: the motif speaks to everyone who lives with horses. If you want the lucky symbol without a horse, you will find the Lucky Horseshoe wall picture; for zodiac birth years there is the Horse wall picture.
Care
Wipe off dust dry; leave silver paste and home remedies alone. How the niello gets into the lines is explained under Nielloa explained.
Frequently Asked Questions about the Wall Picture Horseshoe with Horse
What does “На счастье” mean?
“For good luck”, a wish that in Russia often goes with horseshoes and gifts.
Is the horseshoe a real riding shoe?
No, it is a decorative horseshoe; the shape recalls a shoe but serves only as a pictorial motif.
Can the banner carry an English or German text?
Yes. Instead of „НА СЧАСТЬЕ“, the banner can carry a German, English or Spanish wish as a special order, such as "Good luck". We agree on wording and sketch with you and the manufacturer; production follows approval and payment. See Personalized gifts.
Is there an engraving for the stable or the horse?
We first check a horse’s name or a date with SevChern. You can put the engraving flat fee straight into your cart; if it is not possible on this piece, we pay it back. Free on request: a SilberVerse card with a verse for horse and rider.
Does it go with the zodiac Horse wall picture?
Yes, both measure around 12 × 12 centimeters and can be set up side by side.
