What makes this Snake wall plaque special
The snake rises in two curves, its head finely drawn. The diamonds of its scales are hand-engraved and filled with fired niello, black and sharp against the bright silver, without varnish.
The snake in the Chinese zodiac
It is the sixth sign; its character is 蛇 (shé). It is followed in the zodiac by the horse, for whose year 2026 the Horse wall plaque is available.
For Snake birth years and children of the year 2025
The 1977 birth year will find this a picture for their 50th, the 1965 birth year one for their 60th. Children of the Snake year 2025 (Wood Snake) receive a memento of their year.
Snake, Horse, and Goat in the same frame
The animals of the years 2025, 2026, and 2027 share the same silver-grey frame with red velvet. If you wish to hang them side by side, you can find the Horse and Goat in the same frame.
Caring for the silver plate
Use a soft cloth for dusting.
Frequently asked questions about the Snake wall plaque
Which birth years are Snake?
1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013, and 2025.
When was the last Year of the Snake?
2025, as a Wood Snake; the next one follows in 2037. For births in January or early February, the date of the Lunar New Year determines whether the previous year's animal still applies.
Does the wall plaque work on its own?
Yes, the S-curve and the volute base fill the plate nicely.
Are there other Snake gifts?
Such as the Snake corkscrew in a case.
Is there an engraving option?
Add the engraving service flat fee directly to your shopping cart; we will clarify whether and where engraving is possible, along with the text, afterwards—otherwise, we will refund the fee. Alternatively, there is the SilberVerse card: a verse that we write based on the occasion, name, and mood, free of charge upon request.
Also fitting: the Dragon wall plaque for the preceding sign, and other collector's items for collectors.
